Papalaguinda

A place to talk, flirt and fall in love, the Promenade of Papalaguinda owes its name to a local Spanish term for flirting: “a palpar la guinda” (to touch the cherry).

For style and elegance this park is hard to beat and is one of the essential spaces for socialising in Leon, full of gardens and colours. The rose gardens at the entrance, arranged in circles with private nooks, give way to the children’s park, previously a  space for open air dances and concerts. Then there is a play area, the children’s traffic park, the lake is with a dovecote and finally the modern skate park. A place to delight anyone.
