We offer “Leon, legend and memory”, a document that offers you another way to enjoy the tourist attractions of our city, with 16 routes through the hidden parts of Leon.
The legends told in the leaflet are from different times: the tale of the demon that visited the building site of the cathedral and obstructed the works, or the adventures told in the tavern of the hunchback in Matasiete Street that later become local tales, or the steps in the Plaza Mayor, where people still tell stories about the French cavalry horse that fell down them in the Peninsular War.
