The INTECO building houses an innovative national cybersecurity centre that forms part of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism via the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and the Information Society. Its mission is to develop cybersecurity and digital trust amongst citizens, companies and strategic sectors.
The building is notable for its modern, rationalist and luminous design, which contrasts with its severe and light exterior, integrated into a nearby extensive open space for pedestrians. The centre was built with ecological and low environmental impact materials with green labels or certificates of origin or recycled elements.
