The building of the Ente Regional de la Energía (Regional Energy Authority) is a living example of energy saving and use of renewable energies available in the region, a bioclimatic building.
The building design responds to the need for energy efficiency: in winter it makes use of solar radiation and minimises heat loss to the exterior, and in summer it protects itself from direct sunlight in the daytime and evacuates heat at night, reducing energy costs by 40% in comparison to other similar buildings.
